新教皇はベネディクトゥス16世
パパさまの後継者が決まった。ドイツ出身のラッツィンガー枢機卿で、ベネディクトゥス16世になった。パパさまを20年以上も支えてきた人だそうだ。バチカンで教義を監督してきたそうだから、当然保守派。一見したところ、頭よさそうで厳しそうな印象。bbcの宗教担当の記者は「チャーミングな人」と紹介するのと同時に「ヨハネパウロ2世ほどカリスマ性はないと思う」と言ってた。“実務派”なのかな。
少なくともいまはまだこの人を“パパさま”とは呼べない気持ち。いつかは呼べるようになるのか、時が経ってもいつまでも呼べないのかはわからない。パパさまのことは、初めてお顔を見たときから「パパさま！」って感じだった。当時は幼稚園児だったけど、だからすっと受け入れられたのかも。いまのほうがやっぱ余計なものをいろいろ身に纏ってしまってる。

Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I'd like to write like this also - taking time and real effort to make a good article... but what can I say... I procrastinate alot and never seem to get anything done... Regards
