oasis「don't believe the truth」2005
なんなんだなんなんだなんなんだこのたるさわorz。oasisってのはマンチェ出身のクセにリズムは単純極まりない4拍子しか持ってないためそもどんくさいバンドだが、それにしたってたる過ぎだろう、これわ。liamの声がぴいんと立ってない曲が多すぎる。皮肉なことに先行シングルになったM3「lyla」のキレの良さばかりがヤケに際立つ。先行シングルはかっちょいいけどアルバムはたるいっての、最悪の呼び声高い3rd「be here now」のにおいが。あれも先行シングル「d'you know what i mean?」だけはやったらとかっこいかったし。noel兄に寄れば、oasis史上最高傑作の2nd「『morning glory』以来の最高のアルバム」だそうだけど、あり得なーい。
あたしにとってoasisは常に2nd bestだけど、それでもデビュー以来聞き続けてるのはliamの声が圧倒的だから。今回のテーマはどうやら「民主主義」らしく、半分はnoel、残りはliam、gem、andyが共作も含めそれぞれ2曲ずつ書いてるけど、oasisに民主主義なんて要らんて。「oasis = gallagher brothers」なんだからさ。
民主主義を貫いたせいなんだろうか、どうもバラバラ感が否めないし。liamが気入れて歌ってんの、M3「lyla」以外は自分の曲だけな感じが。andyの曲はスケールちっちぇーし（そんなんliamに歌わせるな。反省しろ、andy）、noelは自分が気に入ってる曲、自分で歌っちゃってるし。それってそもバンドの存続自体やばくね？！
M1「turn up the sun」andy bellの曲。たるい。なんでこんなmostたるい曲、1曲目に持ってくるかなあ。×
M2「mucky fingers」noelの曲。たるい。メロディは悪くないけど。△
M3「lyla」noelの曲。これは文句なし最高。PVもまじかっちょいいし。◎
M4「love like a bomb」liamとgemの曲。くーっ、イカス（涙）。ミドルテンポで降ってくるliamの声がえらい気持ちイイ！◎
M5「the importance of being idle」noelの曲で、noelが歌。たりーってば。もちょっとテンポあげなよ。×
M6「the meaning of soul」liamの曲。このアルバムの中ではかなりアップテンポな曲なんだが、なんかいまいちぴったりこないんだよなあ。△
M7「guess god thinks i'm abel」liamの曲。サビで転調するとこがぐっと来るー。◎
M8「part of the queue」noelの曲で、noelが歌。如何にもなnoel節。まあアリ。○
M9「keep the dream alive」andy bellの曲。うーん、如何にもandy節だ。rideとかhurricane #1とかみたいだもん。曲はいいけど、liamに歌わしてどうするよ。liamにはもっとスケール大きい曲歌わせろや。△
M10「a bell will ring」gemの曲。メロディは悪くないが、たるい。△
M11「let there be love」noelの曲。Aメロをliam、サビをnoelが歌っているため、名曲「acquiesce」と比較されているようですが、ちゃんちゃらおかしいや。△
