カナダ出身のboyの初単独公演へ。今夏のサマソニにも来てたそうだけどそのときは見ておらず、タワレコで2ndを試聴してえらく気に入ってしまったので。最近ではわりと稀少な正統派ギターロック。音の傾向は違うんだけど、john mayerとかmichelle branchとか辺りの“正統派”っぷりを感じる。元々はボーカルのstephenが全パートを自分で演奏して宅録した曲をネットにアップして大評判となり1st発売。でライブでカナダ中をツアーしながらメンバーを集めて、バンド形態で2ndを出して現在に至るとのこと。
ライブはほぼオンタイムで開始。金髪の見目麗しいメンバーが多いため、きゃあ☆ちう黄色い声が飛ぶ飛ぶ（笑）。初めはおとなしい日本のファンに苛立ってたのか気持ち乗り切れてない気がしたけど、あたしの大好きな「same old song」辺りからファンが盛り上がってきたせいもあって演奏がノリノリになってグルーヴどんどん増してきてかなり好み。本編最後の「people come on」、アンコール最後の「every page you turn」なんてもーぶいんぶいん言わせちゃってて最高！けっこーインストでも聞かせるし、ハモリも美しいし、バンドとしてさらにこなれてくると相当かっこいいことになりそう。ちょっといまの世の中の流行じゃないかも知れないけど、かっこいいものはかっこいいのだよ。
それに何と言ってもstephen！立ち姿が美しすぎる。あの凛としたムード、どこかian brownを彷彿とさせる。特に歌ってないときの口を尖らせた横顔なんてそっくり。高音部歌ってるときはcharlatansのtimっぽいけど。うーんひさびさに惚れました。
3rdが待ち遠しい！！！

Good day! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it hard to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I'm thinking about making my own but I'm not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Cheers

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
